Samsung fails to temporarily halt Galaxy Tab 10.1 banning in US

The Korean smartphone maker this week failed to appeal the U.S court to temporarily halt the banning of Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the U.S. market after Apple Inc. laid off a complaint against Samsung.

The banning of Galaxy Tab 10.1 became effective on June 27 that prohibits Samsung to distribute another batch of Galaxy Tab 10.1 on stores. However, stores that still have the tablet are excepted to sell them out but not allow to order for new batches once the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is out-of-stock.

“We believe today’s ruling will ultimately reduce the availability of superior technological features to consumers in the United States…Regardless, we will continue to pursue a request for an appeal of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 preliminary injunction, which we filed on June 26 to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.” Samsung said in a statement.
